Local arts businesses will gather Thursday, Dec. 5, 2019 for an expo of all things made in Kingston, at a new space under development in Midtown, the city’s up-and-coming arts district.
This year’s event will be held at BSP, a historic former theatre at 323 Wall Street.
The 3pm to 8pm event is open to the public. In addition to more than four dozen local artists, the evening will feature local food, beverages and musical entertainment.

Join Emilia Stern for an introduction to needle felting workshop. Learn the fun and simple craft of needle felting and make soft sculptures from wool fiber using just a felting needle. Participants will create their own pom poms and other wool shapes with the opportunity to make a pair of earrings, ornaments, and decorations. The 12th annual BUST Craftacular Holiday is back this year in the heart of Greenpoint, Brooklyn, at the Brooklyn Expo Center! The two-day event will feature over 200 of the best purveyors of handmade goods. Vendors will have an opportunity to attend either one or two days to display their items to over 5k shoppers. The BUST School for Creative Living is happening in tandem with the BUST Holiday Craftacular. The school will feature dozens of local artists and businesses. Visitors will have the opportunity to learn crafts and trades and will take away tangible items made from scratch. Guests can try their hands at classic crafting skills such as macrame and cross-stitch, dive deep into herbalism and participate in a variety of exciting educational workshops.

RUPCO closed on the 70,000-square-foot underutilized factory/warehouse and is now proposing The Metro as a community wealth-building project; a film and technology hub to include maker spaces and other creative uses.

The market will kick-off on the same evening as Albany City Hall’s Tree Lighting & Open House on Thursday, November 30, and will also feature vendors and exhibits at Albany City Hall, the Albany Visitors Center, and the Albany Institute of History & Art from 5 PM - 8 PM. A free shuttle, provided by Advantage Transit Group, will transport visitors to each of the locations.
